私たちは、いついかなる時もそれを手の中に納め、インターネットの中にある即時的報酬で目と耳を塞ぐ。
周囲の音環境はノイズであるかのように嫌悪され、だだそこにある音たちは無視され続けている。
本作品は、都会に溢れる即時的な音、都会の無視され続ける美しい環境音を空間の中で重ね合わせて提示する。
報酬が溢れ、嫌悪された音環境は、決して無視することのできない美しさを持っている。
指を動かすことで得られる無限の報酬は、私たちに思考を放棄させる。
自己内省的な思考時間は、電子板から発せられる快楽によってかき消され、自己を形成する評価基準は、得体の知れない空虚な多数派によって形作られていく。
そうした営みはやがて何を生み、何を喪失させるのだろう。
針を失った生きる屍は、一体どこへ向かうのだろう。
本作品は現代の即時的快楽依存に対するサウンドインスタレーションである。

In the contemporary world, small electronic devices like smartphones are an indispensable presence, so essential that we cannot detach ourselves from them. At any given moment, we tuck them into our hands, shutting off our eyes and ears with the immediate rewards found within the internet. The surrounding auditory environment is scorned as if it were mere noise, and the existing sounds around us continue to be ignored.
This work presents the immediate sounds that abound in the city and the beautiful environmental sounds that continue to be ignored in the city, superimposed in space.
The sound environment, overflowing with rewards and abhorred, has a beauty that can never be ignored.
The infinite rewards obtained by moving our fingers lead us to abandon thoughtful contemplation. Moments of introspective thinking are drowned out by the pleasures emitted from electronic screens, and the criteria for shaping our selves are gradually formed by an unknown and empty majority.
What will such pursuits eventually give rise to, and what will they cause us to lose? Where does the living corpse, deprived of direction like a lost needle, ultimately lead?
This work is a sound installation addressing the contemporary dependence on immediate pleasures.
